点评:We've reviewed other of the nice beaches along the north coast of Prince Edward Island, including Thunder Cove, Cavendish Beach, and Brackley Beach. This is well east of all three of those and possibly the most remote of the four. It was a little less than an hour driving northeast from Charlottetown.
The main attraction for us was the sort of lagoon with an attractive lighthouse. It's very tranquil today and the setting looks natural, so it's hard to realize that this was once a wharf with a busy fishing town.
There isn't much to see here per se, but it is attractive and serene. The Canadian Park system has done a nice job with a well-maintained boardwalk of sorts over parts of the water.
I don't remember much if anything in the way of amenities. If you are looking at a place to swim, particularly with children, you might be better off with Cavendish or Brackely to the west.
This is well worth a visit on a nice day just to experience some beauty in a contemplative atmosphere.
