点评：From initial enquiry to the actual gig, every accessibility step was carefully considered and I was never once made to feel like a nuisance or inconvenience - in fact, quite the opposite.
Firstly, it’s worth saying that had it not been for the accessibility arrangements, it is highly unlikely that we would have been able to attend. When I first enquired about it, Gina responded quickly, answering my questions and reassuring me about the steps that would happen from booking to confirming. I booked the tickets and the arrangements were confirmed straight away. Gina explained the process so I felt confident in what would happen on the day - something I greatly appreciated.
We arrived at the venue and were greeted by security, who seemed to be well-versed in the process and took us to have our bag checked and get inside the venue. There we were then greeted by Gina, who again explained things perfectly. She led us to the lift and explained that her colleague, Jenny would meet us at the top. Jenny met us, explained about the accessible toilet and showed us to the seating area. We were introduced to Liv, who must have done about 20,000+ steps on the night, collecting drinks, photos of merchandise, making sure we were ok! What an asset to the team she is.
The communication between all the members of staff, from security to the members of the team inside the venue was second-to-none. This made the operation run seamlessly and we felt secure throughout.
Albert Hall made accessibility feel like an integral part of their practice, not just an afterthought. We were incredibly well-looked-after by every member of the team. To have been able to attend this very special gig, and to have the level of service, care and consideration that we had last night, made this experience one we will remember for a very long time. We are incredibly grateful. Thank you to the whole team.
