Churchfields Farmhouse Ice Cream的点评
点评：We visited Churchfields today for the first time, hoping to explore the farm, fairy trail and see the animals. When we arrived, I told the staff member we’d never been before, but he took our money without mentioning that the farm was closed.
After finding the outdoor area shut off, we went back inside and were told the farm was closed for maintenance and that “Toddler Time” was on instead. I asked where this was mentioned on the website, and it turned out it was only on the specific Toddler Time event page – not something you’d think to check if you were planning a normal visit.
We decided to stay, but Toddler Time was really disappointing. Outside there were just a couple of tuff trays with a few toy cars and some chalk lines. Inside, the soft play was tiny, the play kitchen and checkout were broken, and the toys were filthy with years of built-up grime. Every electronic toy we tried was also broken.
The biggest disappointment was that, despite knowing we’d come expecting to visit the farm, there was no apology or offer of a refund. One member of staff was lovely, but the person who served us initially wasn’t particularly welcoming.
The whole place felt tired and run down. For the price of Toddler Time, there are much cleaner, better maintained independent play venues offering far more engaging activities. Sadly, it was a very disappointing first visit.
