Churchfields Farmhouse Ice Cream的点评
点评：If you want a family day out that mixes fresh air, farmyard charm, and ice cream dreams, Churchfields Farm is a winner.
There are plenty of spots to perch with a picnic, plus an on site café that looks very tempting and even offers afternoon tea if you preorder. We didn’t sample the food this time but it certainly looked appetising.
Animal lovers will enjoy buying feed and wandering down to say hello to the sheep, goats, cows, and donkeys. A little word of warning though, the terrain is steep and uneven in places but it is farmland after all so sturdy shoes are your friend.
For playtime, there’s no shortage of choice. Pedal karts for the speedsters, hay bales to climb for the adventurers, and giant bouncy pillows that act like trampolines, perfect for sensory seekers. The wooden play park in the middle of it all is spectacular and gives parents plenty of benches to relax while little ones burn off energy.
There’s even a maize maze, though we saved that mystery for another day.
It’s also dog friendly so four legged family members are welcome too.
And of course, no trip is complete without ice cream. The farm has carts handily dotted around for quick scoops on the go, but we saved ourselves for the main ice cream parlour at the end. Sitting outside with a cone in hand and tubs to take home was the perfect finish to a lovely day.
A brilliant place for families, nature lovers, or anyone who believes ice cream tastes better when enjoyed on a farm. Worth a visit.
