点评:I have just returned from the Kelso scooter festival. Which was held at the show grounds. The site is impressive in a lovely location. All amenities are there for a fabulous break. It was a nice place to be.
I do however have one criticism. On arrival at the care there was a team of Marshalls. All very professional and polite.
However I did witness a vehicle entering the site who clearly had an issue with mobility as they had a blue disabled badge. The person requested that they be allowed to proceed beyond the designated parking area to offload their gear.
This is when it went wrong in my opinion. The Marshall to whom they were speaking to for some reason lost it. His name is Norman. This man was shouting at the driver stating that he had a disabled badge and didn’t care that the driver was disabled.
When the driver then asked if Norman could help or find him some assistance he lost it again. Stating that they would have to use their own wheel chair. It got so heated that Norman’s supervisor had to pull him back as his head was inside the car window whilst he lambasted the driver.
I hope that someone in authority reads this and either re train Norman. Or maybe train him in the first instance or terminate his contract.
There were a number of people witness to this uncalled for incident who were disgusted.
Don’t know how it ended as we moved on.
I’ll see next year if “Stirming Norman” is still there. If so I will be disapointed and will have to post the video my daughter took.
Otherwise the site was fab.
