点评：We asked The Rock to put on a 40th birthday celebratory meal and it was just fantastic. They gave us a large table at the back under their awning. We had plenty of room, and the service was immaculate - sympathetic and paced exactly to our liking. We pre-ordered a feast - whitebait, belly pork starters, oysters, hummus and mains of sirloin and ribeye steak, pie of the day and some burgers. Everything was spot-on, cooked to perfection and quite delicious. Really nice English sparkling wine and an exceptional primitivo helped to wash it all down (wines chosen with care, meats from local producers, fish from the wonderful Sankey's of Tunbridge Wells). Everyone was bowled over. Thank you, The Rock! This is an exceptional place - we come here for special occasions and it's the best pub in its area.
