Steam Train Ride from Friendly Folk
Lincolnshire Coast Light Railway的点评
点评：On a wet Saturday I traveled to Skegness to take a ride on the Lincolnshire Coast Light Railway. With the help of Google Maps I arrived at the water park from the North. If you pull up and go to reception you will be given the code to enter the park and I was given directions to get to the railway.
I bought a ticket and was given a leaflet about the railway which was interesting and had some nice pix.
The train arrived being hauled by their steam engine Jurassic. The engine ran round and passengers got on board. I had a really nice chat to a lady who is a volunteer and she was telling me she has recently started volunteering and has been training to become a guard and ultimately a driver.
It's not a long journey to Seathorne Bank but you go past the depot where a variety of engines were on display and past a couple of old aeroplanes.
At Seathorne station you can watch the engine run round the carriages and visit the shop where you can get a drink and also a souvenir.
It's a really nice little railway and tickets are very good value. The staff were all really welcoming and friendly.
