点评：We came here as a family for a fun trip out. My husband who is a disabled veteran still doesn’t have his handicap placard. We asked if we could just drop him at the front down the hill so he wouldn’t have to walk all the way from the lot. He uses a cane and didn’t bring his chair today due to the sand. They wouldn’t let us do that. He walked down the hill to the entrance slowly and managed ok. When it was time to leave I asked the new lady at the front counter if I could bring the car down so he wouldn’t have to hike back up the hill to the lot. She said she needed to see him to make sure he was actually disabled. So obviously I got upset because that is another form of discrimination to him. The I went up the hill myself and asked the guy who stood at the gate if there was another place I could pull my car around to get a little closer to him. He told me he wasn’t moving the gate unless he saw an f-ing placard. Obviously I was caught off guard by this. I came back down the hill to where my husband was standing where the lady at the desk still saw him using his cane. He then walked up the hill because no one would let us bring the car down. He fell going up the hill to the car because his knee gave out. The lady at the desk did nothing but say well I saw him swimming. Yes people with disabilities can swim as a form of therapy. He went out one to sit in the water with our 8 year old. This was the worst experience. This place was also way over priced and so crowded. The staff was unhelpful and unbelievably rude.
