Pack your sandwiches and a sense of humour, you're in for a treat

点评：It started out wonderfully. Route 3 was like a dream!
Then we wandered on to Route 11. This was where things became more dicey. In order to get back home, we had to turn Route 11 into a circle, involving a surprise detour up a mountain - only for our newfound trail to re-join, quite mysteriously, Route 11 again, three hour later, and with no explanation. It felt like a game that Route 11 had played on us, and won. But then again, we enjoyed it very much, and for those in need, there is ice cream on Batsi beach.
Then we tried ALBA. This was advertised as for experienced hikers only. Having scaled the peaks surrounding Route 11 with no difficulty, we felt this description fit us well. After a happy climb up to the top, we thought it would be a simple question of winding our way down the famous fertile valley, perhaps with a stop to see what the craic was at what the map proclaimed was "Chrissie's House". Surely, coffee to be found at such a well marked spot. Well, no sir. No sooner had we begun the descent than a game of cat and mouse began, with us searching hopelessly for signs of the devious little red markers which supposedly point the way home.
Pointing us home, they were NOT.
We jumped off the roof of a house.
We had to get IN a river.
We got chased by sheep.
We bothered a Man, who saw us stumbling tiredly into a field of hay, and came to tell us that the path was not in fact, that way, but actually -
Up a CREVASSE.
When we finally stumbled out back onto the beach, we sort of fell into the sea, and in to the arms of the charming man at the bar who made us the best lemonade this side of Route 3.
And let me tell you now, those roads? Not for the faint hearted. We managed in a 1.1 Litre Chevrolet, but heed this as your warning.
All in all, pretty good! Would ALBA again. Pack a headscarf, sandwiches, and a sense of humour. If you've got this, you're in for a great time - STUNNING views, cool terrain, exciting wildlife, the chance at getting your hands on a fresh fig, and a big old adventure.

我们从屋顶跳下，不得不跳进河里；还遭到了羊群的追赶。后来有个男人看到了我们疲惫不堪地跌跌撞撞走进干草地的模样，便过来告诉我们：真正的路其实不在那边，而是在——
一条裂缝的上方。当我们最终跌跌撞撞地回到海滩上时，我们几乎是扑进了海里，同时也投入了酒吧里那位帅气男人的怀抱。他为我们调制了3号公路沿线最好喝的柠檬水。
说实话，那些路况可不适合胆小的人。我们虽然开着一辆1.1升排量的雪佛兰车成功通过了，但请大家务必引以为戒。
总的来说，体验相当不错！我还会再选择ALBA的。记得带上头巾、三明治，还有幽默感。只要具备这些，你就能享受到一段美妙的旅程——沿途风景绝美，地形也十分迷人。迷人的野生动植物、亲手摘到新鲜无花果的机会，以及一场超棒的冒险之旅。
