Lovely cafe and garden

点评：Visited today with my mum. I'm 54, she is obviously older, and we like to visit places between our homes, which are geographically distant, to meet up. This will be a repeat visit for us, it was lovely.
There's a lovely little woodland to wander through, which I remember being beautiful in bluebell season and visiting as a child. It's an easy walk and dogs are welcome. There's a lovely adventure playground which was surprisingly quiet- when my kids were young i'd have been here all day with free parking!
The walled garden has some beautiful specimens which were doing surprisingly well in tne drought. The volunteers have done an amazing job- I visit a lot of RHS gardens and to be honest, these borders aren't far off! There's also an orchard and some great specimen trees.
The cafe has really good coffee and a great lunch menu. We go to a lot of cafes and this one stood out- clean, stylish, airy. Really friendly staff. A secondhand bookstall which supports the site. My toastie was very generous, with salad, a little pot of dressing and crisps. Jacket spuds looked lovely and the cakes were beautiful.
We will certainly meet there again, and try to time it to a house visit as well. My mum will go to visit with her friends again more regularly as it's nearer.

我们肯定会再次光临此地，还会尽量安排在参观房子的同一天去。因为离得更近，我妈妈以后也会经常和朋友们一起来这里。
