Dafna guided us through the Old City of Jerusalem, Masada, the Dead Sea Scrolls, Old Jaffa, Tel Aviv, Caesarea, Kadma Winery, Ein Karem, and so much more. At every stop, she brought history to life with a rare blend of expertise, clarity, and enthusiasm. Whether explaining ancient religious traditions, walking us through archaeological sites, or unpacking the complexities that shaped Israel’s modern political environment, her command of the material was remarkable.
Beyond her encyclopedic knowledge, Dafna is also a true foodie—and that made the journey even more special. She introduced us to local markets, hidden-gem street food, and outstanding restaurants we never would have found on our own. Every meal felt like part of the cultural experience, not just a break in the day.
