Shrewsbury Prison的点评
点评：I had an excellent time at one of their 1.5 hour ghost tours tonight! For £25 admission fee you get a run down of the gruesome ways people have died, the ghosts that haunt the halls and a small area history as well! They do a longer ghost related thing also but I tried this first as a taster.
The tour guides (two lovely ladies that I have already forgotten the name of 🥲) take you around a couple of the wings where the more active shenanigans happen. They also allow time for you to wander around the area you’re in before moving on, and encourage you to take images and videos (they want those spooky ones!).
Accessibility:
It’s not disabled friendly if you can’t do stairs however. The stairs are steep and tight which may trigger vertigo. There’s about 4-5 trips up and down stairs, so take that into consideration!
There are bathrooms littered around, and one at the beginning while you’re waiting for everyone to gather up.
They are assistant pet friendly!
The group size (for ours at least) was 20 though that may vary.
Equiptment to bring:
- phone/ camera for pictures
- torch!!! It’s pitch black in there! (And there’s a couple steps you could trip over)
- water bottle, just in case
- jumper or jacket, it may get cold
