点评：Having read about this place and visited another site similar (Garden of Cosmic Speculation) I had high expectations. Unfortunately it wasn’t as good, it’s land art but on a far more basic scale. It should be free and maybe have an honesty system or pay to park as at £8 per adult it’s overpriced for what essentially is a large green space with manmade rock installations representing the multiverse.
The Coalface is not a cafe, if it was I think the place would have a greater appeal to more people. You can get takeaway coffee and sweets/ice creams. The walks are not suitable for all abilities.
We enjoyed a long walk and high up the views are great on a clear day, but it isn’t a place to visit on a cold wet day.
Motorhome parking is available and can overnight stay is £10 with access to toilets and water/bins. All the walks are accessible after closure so photographers can enjoy sunrise or sunsets in the landscape.
Overall it was a pleasant couple of hours exercise with the dog if expensive.
