点评:We found this lovely tearoom by chance while out for a walk along the coastal path. It is a located about 1.5 km downhill from the Guernsey Airport and is accessible by foot, bicycle, or vehicle (with some roadside parking available by the tearoom). It is a stunning location with stone construction and a view over the small, mostly sand beach and the rugged shoreline. Loophole Tower #13, built by the British in 1778-79 to protect against the French (and open to visit March-October) adds to the ambiance. Petit Bôt Tearooms serves as an anchor for a day at the beach, or is a great start/end point for various scenic walks in the area. Although the upstairs restaurant was not operating the day we visited, the lower door was open and we had the pleasure of meeting the owner, enjoying a great coffee, and learning a bit about the location’s history (and If we understood correctly, his family has lived in and around the tearoom since the 1800s). There is plenty of outdoor seating and the menu offers tea (of course), coffee, pizza, drinks, and ice cream as well as light meals when the upstairs is open. Well worth a visit.
