点评：I wd like 2 highly recommend Reef Unlimited (or Ree-FUN-limited)! 4 a ferry ⛴️ ride 2 Fitzroy Island.
We were driving 🚗 on our way 2 the port 2 join our cruise when we received notification 🔔 that due 2 bad weather 🌦️ the ship 🚢 was being rerouted from the Pacific Islands 2 Queensland.
My daughter wanted 2 go snorkelling 🤿 with the fish, 🐠 coral 🪸 & turtles 🐢 etc & she was gutted.
In Cairns with 2 days in port we excitedly visited the local marina & the many operators, 2 find that trips 4 that day had already left & trips the following day were fully booked or we couldn’t get there early enuf in the am or back early enuf in the arvo 2 catch the last boat back. To say we were disappointed 😢 was an understatement.
The cost of wifi on the cruise was abt $20/day, so it was prohibitive 4 us 2 use & therefore couldn’t organise/book ahead. In hindsight 2 make the most of the time, we shd have done.
So back on the ship I reviewed the 2 flyers I had picked up that day & suggested 1 trip which was a 1/2 day ferry ⛴️ trip only, 2 Fitzroy Island.
Dep 10.45am & arr back @ 3pm which we shd have enuf time either side 2 do. Only abt 2 hrs on the island 🏝️ but at least it was something. Their full day schedule was 8.30am - 5pm. So I rang & booked. 😛
We got up @ 5am, had breakfast, got tickets 4 the tender (boat) 2 shore & were on the first boat. Got 2 the marina & were checking out the place 2 catch the trip & the 8.30am boat was just leaving, so I asked if we cd get on!
They thankfully obliged & so we got there a few hrs early! 😊 My daughter & hubby, (who had their own snorkeling gear) spent over an hr snorkelling 🤿!
We had a leisurely time on the beautiful island 🏝️ & beaches b4 boarding the ferry back again 2 arrive @ 3pm & had plenty of time 2 get back 2 the ship. 🛳️
All the staff were wonderful, but Patrick, in particular, shined with his jovial sense of humour & ongoing service 2 guests on our return trip, selling ice-creams & drinks. 🍻 It made an already enjoyable day more so. 😁

上午 10.45 出发，下午 3 点返回，我们双方都有足够的时间做这件事。在岛上只待了大约 2 小时🏝️，但至少还是值得的。他们全天的日程安排是上午 8.30 至下午 5 点。所以我打电话预订了。 😛
我们早上 5 点起床，吃了早餐，拿到了 4 条小船 2 条船的船票，然后上了第一艘船。到了码头，正在查看这个地方 2 赶上行程，早上 8.30 的船刚刚出发，所以我问我们是否可以上车！
谢天谢地，他们答应了，所以我们提前几个小时到达那里！ 😊 我的女儿和丈夫（他们有自己的浮潜装备）花了一个多小时浮潜🤿！
我们在美丽的岛屿🏝️和海滩度过了悠闲的时光 b4 再次登上渡轮返回 2 下午 3 点到达，有足够的时间 2 返回 2 船。 🛳️
所有的员工都很棒，但帕特里克尤其出色，他的幽默感和在我们回程中持续为 2 位客人提供的服务，出售冰淇淋和饮料。 🍻这让本来就很愉快的一天变得更加愉快。 😁
