White sand, clear shallow waters, near the Port - rather busy

点评：Friday 25th July we visited this beach on the northeastern coast of Sardinia
We had previously been in the area when we visited the Port to catch the ferry for our boat trip to Tovolara and Molara.
We returned to visit the beach, a few days later, as we were driving around that side of the Island, it is just down the coast from Port.
It is a crescent-shaped beach that stretches it's way along the coast for approximately 500 metres. The beach is populated with soft white clean sand. The sands are washed by the shallow, clear and vibrant green-blue waters, of the Tyrrheniansea, part of the Mediterranean Sea.
These features as well as being safe for swimming makes the beach very popular and busy, especially with families.
There are blue and white painted wooden slats form a pathway across the sand, very useful when the sand is hot. They also enable access for buggies and wheelchairs
There are a number of restaurants close to the entrance alongside a number of makeshift shops line the way to the beach.
