Having done a Discovery Scuba Dive (DSD) with them several years ago, I returned for my Nitrox and Advanced Open Water PADI certifications, and the next chapter of my scuba journey. Carly and Eddy made booking my 6-day, 15 dive week a breeze, custom tailoring my schedule to achieve all my goals, maximize my bottom time, and provide me a truly epic experience.
Passion best describes this crew. They’re passionate about your safety, your dive experience, and Cozumel’s spectacular reefs and marine life of the Mesoamerican Barrier Reef System, to name a few. I asked the owner of my Ambergris Caye dive shop one time, what’s the difference between shops. “Equipment and vibe” he said. He couldn’t be more right. SLC’s dive equipment is top of the line, exquisitely cared for and maintained. Their vessels, Leilani “Heavenly Flower”, and Kailani “Sea and Heaven” are just that, pristine, comfortable, and putting the rest of the shops to shame.
In terms of vibe, you can feel it in the air as you approach the shop. Cosmic energy and excitement abound, as equipment is loaded into boats, divers greeted, trying on wetsuits and sharing stories. You realize at that moment you and SLC are now and forever will be family. A special shout out to, my man, Diego the best PADI instructor ever! I’m only the dive am I today because of him, and I’m proud and honored to call him my friend. Love you brother!
