From the moment the whistle blows and the engine begins pulling the train through the Michigan countryside, you can feel the history and nostalgia come alive.
The all-volunteer crew clearly love what they do, and their enthusiasm makes the experience even more enjoyable. The depot museum is worth exploring before boarding, with railroad artifacts and model train displays that both children and adults will appreciate.
The ride itself is relaxing, scenic, and perfect for families, railroad enthusiasts, photographers, or anyone looking for a unique afternoon adventure. While the locomotive switch ends in Quincy the kids can play at the playground.
