This was the highlight of my holiday in the Rocky Mountains
The Burgess Shale Geoscience Foundation的点评
点评:To be honest, seeing the Walcott Quarry wasn't the lever for booking this experience. We booked the hike for - exactly that - The Hike. We wanted to be outdoors for a full day and to experience what its like to be in the Rocky Mountains with a guide rather than to bumble along a short trail with other inexperienced "hikers".
Wow! We were not disappointed.
Not only did we see THE MOST STUNNING scenery, sat on an iconic red chair at Yoho Lake and experienced the raw beauty of the mountains - when we got to the top we had the most informative and enthusiastic Antonine (our French Canadian guide) helping us to find our very own (not to keep) fossils.
Everyone in our small group was lovely, we hiked at a reasonable pace and had plenty of stops.
It was the highlight of my trip to Canada.
