14-day amazing wildlife-focused itinerary with Nazar!

点评：We had an absolutely fantastic experience with Best of Lanka, and particularly with our driver/guide, Nazar.
Nazar struck the perfect balance between being friendly, professional and present, while always knowing when to give us space to enjoy special moments as a couple. He is an incredibly knowledgeable wildlife enthusiast and frequently had as much — if not more — context and insight to share as some of the specialist naturalist guides we met along the way. His enthusiasm for Sri Lanka’s wildlife was infectious.
This was our first time booking a trip through an agency and travelling with a private driver/guide, and Nazar made us completely understand the benefits. He gave us insight into Sri Lankan people, culture and wildlife that we simply wouldn’t have gained travelling independently. We never had to worry about logistics or where to eat — Nazar always had a recommendation, and we enjoyed some incredible local food along the way.
Booking with Best of Lanka, and Sajidh in particular, was equally seamless. They were incredibly responsive and, after a short call and a few messages, created a brilliant wildlife- and adventure-focused itinerary for us, with some excellent hotels, experiences and even a few wonderful surprises along the way.
Of course, things occasionally go wrong when travelling — we had some unexpected car trouble — but Nazar handled everything so professionally and reassuringly that it barely disrupted our trip. We couldn’t have asked for more.
We arrived wanting to experience Sri Lanka and left feeling we’d gained a genuine understanding and appreciation of the country, thanks in huge part to Nazar.
10/10. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Nazar, Sajidh and Best of Lanka — particularly if you love wildlife and want to experience more of Sri Lanka than you would travelling independently
