点评：We had a wonderful two-week trip in Sri Lanka. Even when we were still in Belgium, whilst planning our family holiday, we had excellent contact with Praveen and Lakshitha. In Sri Lanka, we were in the capable hands of Malinda, who is an excellent driver and who can organise everything seamlessly. He took us to cosy restaurants serving delicious food and was a very reliable and friendly guide throughout the tour.
We saw some remarkable animals in the Sinharaja rainforest, on safaris at Uduwalawe and Wilpattu, and whilst snorkelling. We were able to experience local life during the bicycle ride through the countryside around Galle, the hike through the tea plantations along the Pekoe Trail, the walk amongst the spices grown in the Digana villages, the catamaran canoe trip with the local fisherman on the lake near Udawalawe, the meeting with the Buddhist monk in the beautiful temple above Ella, and the many conversations with the families in the guesthouses and restaurants. Several experienced guides explained the history and culture during visits to temples and monuments in Kandy, Polonnaruwa, Mihintale, Anuradhapura,...
Best of Lanka selected for us a very nice combination of hotels, homestays, campings, ecolodges and resorts, so we had a vey pleasent stay here.
