点评：This place fell a bit short. Had a Disc Golf tourney on the grounds there. Booked a room at the Stable Horse Inn at reduced rate of $120-not bad, not great. Played all afternoon in 100 degree heat index. Came to room and had trouble getting the lock to accept my 4-digit pin. Finally worked, then found out there is no ice machine there. Never rented a room anywhere that didn't have ice. Locked up, went to the general store for their $8 bag of ice. Got back and couldn't get into the room, automatic lock was 'low battery'. Called guest services-"I'll put in a request to maintenance". Sat in my truck in the A/C for 20 min, tried the door again and managed to work it. Waited 45 min and no maint person. Locked up, took a shower, then saw an employee outside messing with something, "Can you contact maint for me?" He was in maint but never got the message I needed help. Changed the batteries and I was good. Wanted the diner for dinner but got there to find it closes at 4:00. Went to the Saloon and got a very tasty quesadilla but had the bottom pieces swimming in whatever oil they cook in. Overall, disappointing for a place that calls itself a 'resort'. (Reeses peanut butter pie at the saloon was the trip highlight.)
