点评:Worth the drive but arrive at opening and plan to spend some time to fully appreciate. And make reservations. We brought cash for the entry fee, which I would suggest. The caretaker will provide you with a map and an excellent history lesson before you head out. To have so many opportunities to see the vestiges of what was once a thriving town is a unique experience. This is not a “tourist” attraction with mock ups….this is the real deal. Very primitive. Ruby Road out of Arivaca will turn to dirt. It’s a pretty well maintained road, but I would think a little difficult once the rainy season starts without four wheel. We drove in a two wheel Toyota van and were fine. The scenery is very different from the lower desert…much more savannah like. This is a rare opportunity to step back in time…. Don’t miss a chance to go.
