Funny Bone Comedy Club的点评
点评：We saw Michael Yo and his opening act. They were good. Parked about a block away in a parking lot- but there were not a lot of spots.
My best advice for anyone planning to visit was to eat before you get there. Apparently they are not equipped to be able to prepare and serve the food on a timely basis once ordered. This isn't a criticism of the kitchen- it would be a tall expectation as there are a lot of people crammed into the space and almost everyone orders something upon arrival.
The menu is pretty basic and seems to be leaning toward those who like spicy food. I would have ordered the Reuben, a burger or grilled cheese but all had hot peppers as a component and there wasn't any alternative. (EX: Reuben had spicy 1000 island dressing, no regular 1000 island was available) My PC ordered the nachos (16.00 ish) and I ordered the chicken strips and fries - around $17.00, I think. Nothing was remotely warm when we got it. My chicken was dried out and tough. Fries were soggy, room temp. The chicken meat on the nachos seemed to be canned and was also dry and tough. We each had an alcoholic drink, plus I had a pink lemonaide. No way was I going to try to send anything back - the other two people at our 4 top didn't get their food until over 1/2 through the main act. Our server was trying her best, but there was only so much she could do.
Our bill for the evening was $190.00. That included two VIP tickets at $35.00 each although when we got there the VIP section was oversold and we sat in the regular section. The ladies sitting with us had the same experience. Our seats were fine in the regular section. BUT if they are going to charge a $10.00 upcharge per ticket for the VIP section, they should have seats available.
