点评：All Michigan State Parks are nice but this one was not as nice as the rest I have been to. First and foremost the beach is gone. It looks like the slope and the shoreline got washed out so there is no real access from the camping areas. There is a beach that you can drive to but when I read the info about this campground its claim to fame was there was beach within a few hundred feet of every campsite. Had I known you could not access what was left of the beach I would have gone elsewhere. Not the end of the world but the beach was why we were there. I travel in a motor home so I cannot review the bathroom/shower situation. The sites are a bit small for laerger motorhomes. The site we booked was supposed to be able to fit a rig 40 feet long . Our RV is 35 feet long and we had our tires and lifts off the pad. Still worked, but again not what it was described as. I gave the park a 3 star rating because having just camped at five other state parks on our trip, which were stellar, this one just doesn't meet the same stadards as the other parks. One plus is there is a nice easy hiking trail across the street from the park. Great for walking the dogs. And there are some short trails in the woods that youngsters can ride their bikes on...think easy dirt biking. I had fun watching the kids doing little jumps etc. But if you are coming to the park with young kids be aware that the washed out shoreline has left steep cliffs behind and there is a trail right along it. In areas that trail is a narrow walking path at the cliffs edge. Very dangerous. I can't believe access to this path was even allowed.
