Horseshoe Canyon的点评
点评：We visited Horseshoe Canyon after seeing the sites to the southeast of Drumheller. We spent about 30 minutes here but you could easily spend more time hiking. This area is much easier to get around then Horsethief Canyon. We also got lucky and saw a little bunny and gopher while visiting this area. There weren't that many people visiting but we would highly recommend this area to get incredible views of the badlands. The trails are well maintained but we would still recommend bringing a good pair of shoes and preparing for the exposure whether it is sun or bugs.
This area is free to enter and there is a campground nearby with a concession but this would be a good area to picnic. Parking is currently free but we could see them adding paid parking one day like the Hoodoos. Horseshoe Canyon is kind of the only thing to the southwest of Drumheller but you could consider combining this with a trip to Rosebud Theatre.
