点评：At 4pm the day before the White Rose Classic Sportive in Ilkley (which we would also strongly recommend), our friend from London had a mechanical nightmare and lost her rear disk braking pressure and was resigned to not riding the sportive she had actually come up for! In need of a good samaritan we contacted Vern - he was busy collecting some hire bikes and he had plans in the evening - it was actually his birthday!! But, he said bring it over, he'd take a look. His premises were amazing, highly organised and his hire bikes all in pristine condition - he inspired us with confidence. We left the bike with him and after 7pm on his birthday, he called to say he had bled the problematic unloved rear brake system and the bike was good to go! Our friend from London was amazed that someone would do this and with a smile and a fair price for the works. Vern turned the weekend round for us all and we had a great ride together at the sportive the following day.
Service above and beyond what any of us would expect, skill to get the job done and with pride in the work. We would recommend Vern to anyone.
