The most perfect boat trip

点评：We were in the market for a good day trip whilst walking along Skopelos harbour one evening and at that time, the Ena had just docked and its guests disembarking as we walked past. “Book this now!” said one lovely lady “you won’t find a better boat trip!” And so armed with this advice and rave recommendation, I went online that night, emailed Lykos and booked us in. Lykos was quick to respond and we had secured our trip for Tuesday.
The weather was perfect that morning as we climbed aboard the Ena - a beautiful traditional wooden cutter. We motored out of the harbour but as soon as we were in the sea, the sails were unfurled and we silently made our way to Alonissos for the first stop. Being a smaller boat, there were only 8 guests and two lovely crew. This meant it was peaceful, no blaring ABBA songs and no enforced fun (although it really was fun!) - there was shade if you wanted it or sun, if you’re a lizard like me. We moored at a beautiful, peaceful bay and could snorkel, paddle board, swim or just remain quietly on deck. No pressure. All equipment is provided, even noodles if you’re not a brave sea swimmer like me. But with crystal clear azure esters, warmer than a bath, even I was tempted in to float. We were supplied with an abundance of beauty fully prepared, fresh food throughout the day, along with cold mineral water and beer or wine at lunch. Nothing was too much trouble for our two lovely crew. They even joined us in the water at the lunch stop. The day was beyond perfect. Chatting to our fellow guests or just enjoying the stunning island views and marine life, we passed a very happy day making lifetime memories. Even our teenage son appeared to enjoy himself momentarily as he plunged in for a snorkel.
Heading back home in the evening, our captain spotted some dolphins playing in the wake and he circled a few times so we got to see them. They jumped from the water just a few feet from the boat. Disney could not have done better! All we needed was a mermaid to appear on a rock and the dream was complete!
At 120 Euros a person, it’s not the cheapest but then I firmly believe that you pay for what you get and what you get here is worth far more than money can buy. But don’t take my word for it, book yourself onto the boat and let Mythical Adventures take you on the trip of a lifetime!
