Nice cruise, but really poor customer service and safety concern.

点评:Rented a pontoon boat from Atlantic in February for four hours in the morning.
Check in was quick but a bit surprising. Never asked if I had driven a boat before, or even been on a boat. Never instructed on the boats operation or safety equipment. Actually had to ask where the life preservers were. (I actually have my Coast Guard 50 ton Masters License, but he didn't know that.)
Boat was in ok condition although the horn did not work and there was a whistle on the dashboard.
Called when we were about 10 minutes out from the dock coming in. I was told one of them would meet me at the fuel dock to help dock and tie up. Fuel dock was crowded, had to circle a couple of times... no one was there to meet or assist me. Docked, tied up, etc. and finally a guy showed up. No questions like was everything ok. any issues? Sorry we weren't here to help, just "I'll gas her up and you pay that guy up there. The next group is ready to go."
Really enjoyed the Intercoastal and the cruise, but the service and the lack for the customer's safety was a let down for sure.
