点评：My family's experience with Seastreak for the July 1, 2026 Yankees Game Ferry was extremely disappointing and has been made worse by the company's handling of the situation afterward.
We purchased Yankees tickets with the understanding that Seastreak would provide transportation to and from Yankee Stadium. However, after arriving, a CSX freight train was blocking the crossing needed for passengers to disembark, leaving everyone effectively trapped on the vessel for approximately 94 minutes. As a result, my family was unable to reach Yankee Stadium in time to attend the game, resulting in a documented financial loss of $488 for four game tickets. While Seastreak refunded the ferry fare, they have not taken responsibility for the much larger loss that resulted directly from their failure to provide the transportation that was promised.
Being stuck on the vessel made the experience even worse. During the 94-minute delay, there was inadequate air conditioning, no running water, and toilets that could not be flushed, creating increasingly uncomfortable and unsanitary conditions. Throughout the ordeal, there was very little meaningful communication about what was happening or when passengers could expect a resolution.
What makes this especially upsetting is that this was meant to be a special family outing. The Yankees tickets were a Father's Day gift for my father, and my son had been looking forward to spending the day with his grandfather. Instead of creating a memorable family experience, Seastreak's failure to deliver the promised transportation left us with disappointment and a significant financial loss..
