Ridiculously long wait time for breakfast, waited an hour and 20 minutes and left in the end without eating!

点评：After seeing all the good reviews online we decided to try here for breakfast on my partners first Father’s Day.
We arrived just after 10.30am and it was fairly busy. We ordered a small breakfast and a breakfast wrap. We weren’t told when ordering (or at any point) that there was a long wait for food, but started picking up after ordering that lots of other tables were complaining about the wait. We chatted away and continued to wait, with no communication or updates from any staff. After an hour and 20 minutes, I went to ask how long the food would be, to be told that they hadn’t started making it yet and there were still a couple of orders in front of ours to be started first.
We ended up asking for a refund and leaving as we had something booked in the afternoon, were starving and didn’t have another potentially hour or so to wait for breakfast (which was then well into lunch time).
Really disappointing experience and the staff didn’t warn in advance or apologise for the situation at all. Had they told us when we arrived we would be waiting over an hour and a half, we wouldn’t have stayed and would have come back another time! It’s a shame as we won’t be back now given this poor first experience and we go out for breakfast a lot!
