Great variety of species and great staff.
Skegness Aquarium的点评
点评：This is a medium sized aquarium. They have made the most of the space they have. How ling it takes you to walk around, depends on how fish/shark mad your kids are. We spent an hour looking around before two experiences we booked (see separate reviews) and probably another hour after our experience. There is also an outdoor dinosaur exhibit with undercover fossil sandpit. One novel aspect was the digital wall with TV screens showing fishes and rays swimming across.....these are made up of the colouring in page you will have been given at the entrance. It's a lovely spacious area to sit and chill and colour in and then you scan the picture and your child's colouring comes to life in the "fish tank". Such a clever idea. There were several talks by the main tank from someone who was clearly passionate and knowledgeable and we loved watching the divers interact with the fish in the main tank too.
Was a nice relief from the hot weather too.
The café was very good. Serving costa coffee, sausage rolls, pasties, toasties, paninis and hot meals all at decent prices. The cake was sadly melting under the skylight windows above but this was my only criticism
It was well stocked and a very good price.
Would recommend on a hot or cold day.
Public car park closeby, does get busy so leave plenty of time if you have an experience booked.
