Stirling Old Town Jail的点评
点评：We had a fantastic time visiting out of high season. We were greeted by David, who was already in character as a member of the jail staff. He was friendly, polite and informative from the get go. He asked if we had any concessions in the party which saved us a couple of quid.
David proceeded to let us know our two options - a self guided audio tour, or a performance guide given by none other than David himself! We waited for the guided tour, and boy are we glad we did! We were the only people on the tour, just the two of us, and yet David gave the performance all the effort to make it immersive and fun for us both, playing a variety of characters from the history of the jail. Think Edinburgh Dungeons but better. You'll also learn the meaning of the title of this review.
The performance took about 30 minutes and was great fun. We were then given as much time as we liked to view the rest of the jail, including an observation tower that provides fantastic views of the local area.
David also does a ghost walk in Stirling which we would be very interested to do at a later date.
