点评:My husband was so excited to do this. We had done one via ferrata in Banff 5 years ago and looked forward to another one. We were in a group of about 8 people. Our guide, Richard, was very helpful and patient I don't think I could have done it without his assistance a couple of times. At the start you have a 30 minute or so hike that is quite steep. Then the Via Ferrata begins and there is no turning around once you start. It was really difficult. There were only about 10 or less steel "steps" on the entire trail. You've got to be in pretty decent shape to do this. Every muscle in my body was used. If you have a fear of heights don't even consider this. We bought gloves from shop (600 NOK each). We wore hiking boots but this trail was so difficult the climbing shoes may have been a bit more helpful as they would be more pliable and fit in the tiny cracks better to get a foothold. The suspension bridge wasn't as scary as I thought it might be, They only allow one person at a time on the cable bridge (the cable bridge is optional). We rode the gondola down after lunch at the top. Be sure to bring lots to drink, some people had a snack along the way but we didn't need it after a large breakfast. Really amazing experience. Really difficult. But so glad we did it.
