点评:After seeing a reel from a travel blogger about the Nepal Himalaya Park in Wiesent, my boyfriend and I wanted to visit the park ourselves. In july we combined it with a trip to the nearby Walhalla in Donaustauf, which turned out to be a wonderful one-day excursion.
The park features authentic Nepalese architecture, including a beautifully carved wooden pavillon and temple, set within tranquil gardens and ponds. Although the €12 entrance fee isn't the cheapest, we felt it was absolutely worth it. We spent a few very relaxed hours enjoying the peaceful atmosphere and the unique blend of culture, spirituality, and botanical beauty.
Highlights for us were the wooden pavillon and temple, the koi ponds, the small café (with the charming option to take the coffee or tea cups home as a souvenir), and watching pottery being made in front of the souvenir shop. While the park is only open for a few hours on a few days per week and can attract a fair number of visitors, its layout and size allow everyone to spread out, so it never felt too crowded.
A truly special and calming that we're very glad we visited.
