Rude patron, over-priced and appalling service - go somewhere else

点评：Last Sunday I stopped at the Wayfield Park Farm Shop with a group of seven mountain bikers, we stopped for a coffee and some of the guys had something to eat. One had a bacon sandwich, which was passable. One had a piece of cake, which was also passable. Just be warned, when you get there, you're going to need plenty of time to read all the signs. And woe betide anybody who doesn't follow the one-way system around the shop, this is carefully designed so that you pass a selection of rather tired, ludicrously expensive produce before getting to the counter.
The counter service was passable. The quality of the coffee, though not that hot, was also passable. I made a grievous error of trying to re-enter through the out door. And the only reason I went back in is I'd already been round and decided I wanted to order a croissant. But as I got there, one of the staff, who had not yet identified himself as one of the staff, who I had basically followed through the door, presumeably the owner said, 'if you want some boiling hot water poured all over you, then carry on coming through this door.' I hadn't realized that as I'd already been round the one-way system once in order to order my coffee, I could not now enter the café by a door adjacent to the counter. I had wanted to order a croissant, but at £3.50 for yesterdays croissant, I decided against it. So, I sat outside and I had a high-energy snack bar which I had been carrying in my pocket, which I ate whilst I drank my coffee. Then a waitresses then suggested I read the signage as 'customers are not permitted to bring their own food along to eat at their tables'. Well, I didn't have a picnic basked, I had a 100g cereal bar which had been in the back of my cycling top. As it is there are about 50 signs up, where it does indeed state on one of them that you're not supposed to eat your own produce. Then, after we'd finished our drinks, I went back in to go to the, use the WC, (through the correct entrance I hasten to add; I followed the barriers, arrows and plethora of notices to the WC. On my way out, one of my friends, told me that there's some water bottles by the main door on the way out, and I could fill up my drinks bottle there. I was in the process of topping up my drinks bottle when the rather overzealous, rude patron came to me, snatched it out of my hand, and said, 'no, no, no, no, no, you won't leave any for anybody else'. And he went to fill it up with tap water, which was fine, but I didn't realize that was an option. Then he gave it back to me and said, in a very insincere manner, 'have a lovely day.'
I just think that, really, if your job is to be customer-facing, then you really ought to learn some manners. I am easy to please, but this place failed miserably, my friends were amused though, so not a total loss. Reading other reviews it appears that the patron is no stranger to this sort of behaviour.

说真的，如果你的工作就是直接面对顾客，那你就真的应该学点礼貌才行。我很容易满足，但这家店实在糟糕透顶。不过我的朋友们倒觉得挺有意思的，所以也不算完全白跑一趟。看了其他评论后我发现，这家店的老板对这种行为似乎习以为常了。
