点评：We went by walk from Alipri to Tirumala. Earlier they used to have a separate queue for pilgrims who come by walk. Now its all merged with Sarva Dharshan Queue.
There are only two options to book your time: 1.) Book your slot 3 months before. Slot opens on last Thursday or somethig (check for the exact day when this opens). 2.) Arraive one day before at Tirupathi. Slotted Darshan tickets are issued for the next day, starting 10:30 AM (Except on Wednesday) There is no slotted time dharshan on Thursday. So, no tickets issued on Wednesday.
There are sevas tickets, which can be booked online too. These are very limited tokens.
Unless you book the dharshan time 3 months in advance, be prepared to spend 2 days at Tirumala. By walk or by slotted time dharshan, you can only have dharshan by next day.
It took 18hrs for our dharshan. This is excluding the walking time.
Devotees should understand this, no matter what they do it will take time for dharshan. Pushing the fellow pilgrims will not help them have early dharshan.
After all the wait, push and crush, we had a good dharshan by next morning 5:00 AM. It was good, peaceful moment.
