Decent Golf but very poor venue

点评：We had an overnight golf break, 2 rounds, B&B and evening meal. The golf courses were decent but because it took 5+ hours to complete our round (in a filthy and very slow walking-paced buggy) it took away all the pleasure from our golf.
Having had many, many of these golf breaks over the years I unfortunately have to say this was the worst, the most awful venue I have ever come across, from the shabby practice nets (the golf range was closed) and no practice area! The hotel looked and felt dated, our room was tiny, dark with dirty carpets. I won't go into detail about the food offerings but my advice is.. DON'T EAT THERE everything was awful, from the cheap, old and dated cutlery to the lack of choice and quality of the evening meal. The breakfast was a buffet style but when we arrived at 9am there was nothing left, unbelievable!
Somebody did say to us during our round that you only get what you pay for but you could not pay me to visit this venue again.
