Beautiful wines in a stunning setting.
Hatziemmanouil Winery的点评
点评：We were staying in Tigaki and looking for a winery tasting without the whole tour company thing. The owner of our hotel (the fabulous Akti Dimis) recommended an afternoon trip to Hatziemmanouil winery. We were a group of 4 adults and paid €20 for a tasting menu of 8 wines. I love Assyrtiko and Malagouzia and others in the group prefer some deep, peppery reds. The setting is stunning here. The winery is right on a main road and you might think that would take away from it, but it really doesn’t. We all commented that it would be a beautiful setting for a wedding; with the authentic wooden barrel chairs and draped pergola. It’s all very cool and quiet and just lovely really. The views to the vines are lovely and we all felt it was fairly special.
We were welcomed warmly and then the tasting menu was shared with us along with snacks. Information and tasting notes on the wines are given and also available on a handy menu that the wines are presented on. Then they step back and allow you to enjoy the wines. There was nothing pretentious about this visit. The staff leave you to enjoy the wines and discuss the tasting notes. Visitors from other tables joined in our discussions too. We didn’t want to leave and popped in to have a larger glass of our favourites and then buy some bottles.
We didn’t have a conducted tour of the cellar etc and that was fine as we were there to taste. However, we had a peek into the cellar and that was cool.
We went back to our hotel a bit merry and a lot happy.
We would all recommend a trip to Hatziemmanouil winery. If you like wine (and you are a nutter if you don’t) to taste in a stunning setting, then this is for you. We didn’t have to get up at stupid o’clock and sit on a bus for hours. We went 10 minutes away from our hotel and found a family owned winery with beautiful wines at a decent price and got to enjoy them in a lovely setting. To top off a great afternoon, the family have a dog which wandered out to greet everyone and so that was the cherry on top of the cake right there.

我们受到了热情的接待，随后便品尝到了品鉴菜单上的菜肴以及各种小点心。工作人员还向我们介绍了葡萄酒的相关信息及品鉴要点，这些信息也详细列在盛放葡萄酒的菜单上，十分方便查阅。之后他们便退到一旁，让你尽情享受美酒。这次体验毫无做作之处——工作人员任由我们品酒并讨论各自的品鉴心得。其他桌的客人也加入了我们的讨论。我们实在舍不得离开，于是又来了一轮，痛饮了几杯最喜欢的葡萄酒，随后还买下了几瓶带回家。
我们并没有参加酒窖导览之类的活动，不过这也没关系，因为我们此行的目的就是品酒。不过我们还是偷偷瞥了一眼酒窖，感觉相当酷呢。我们带着些许醉意、满心欢喜地回到了酒店。
我们都会极力推荐去Hatziemmanouil酒庄游玩。如果你喜欢葡萄酒（要是不喜欢可就太遗憾了），又想在一个绝美的环境中品酒，那这里绝对适合你。我们既不必一大清早起床，也不必在巴士上坐上好几个小时。从酒店出发仅十分钟，我们就找到了这家由家族经营的酒庄——那儿有品质上乘且价格公道的美酒，我们还能在一个宜人的环境里尽情品尝。这个美好的下午，真是完美收尾啊。这家人养了一只狗，它自己跑出来迎接每一个人，这真是锦上添花啊。
