American Treasure Tour Museum的点评
点评：The old BF Goodrich Tire factory is now used for this man's collection. He started with classic cars and then expanded from there. They have everything here. You get to walk around the music room (doll houses, radios, pianos, player-pianos) and then walk through the toy box which is mostly cars and stuffed animals. A golf-cart trolley takes you around the rest of the museum. Notable items are: 1960 Cadillac convertible, 1956 blue Cadillac Fleetwood; numerous Ford Model T's in unrestored condition; the Mummers costume collection on a wall; the Lit Bros Dept Store Colonial Christmas animated displays; and the best was the collection of huge band-organs from carousels and amusement parks/circuses. Most of these actually played and sounded terrific. A hearty well done for the excellent restoration work there. A note that the museum is quite dusty and the cars especially need tires inflated and a dusting. Also- a bit too cluttered with really good exhibits covered in stuffed animals, etc. Well worth the visit. A lot of local Philadelphia history is here!
