点评:We were two guys with limited snowmobile experience and had booked our own guide. EVERYTHING and EVERYONE was very professional and super welcoming/friendly. The access to the two backcountry snowmobile tours were in front of the hotel Glacier House (current location of Great Canadian Tours which will change in 2025 I think) but as the snow was little down at the beginning they took us with their trailer (free of charge) to the mountain. The guide Olli was amazing, patient and competent. All in all: I can only recommend 100%. We will be back for more :)
tip for new backcountry snomobilers: book a two day in a row maximum and then have a day in between to rest as you will use your muscles a lot to learn the technique in the backcountry. Sidehilling will be necessary to really do backcountry (and learning that takes at least 3 days if you are talented and then some) but they can also take you only to hills that are straight up the fall line so you wont need sidehilling and only need normal riding technique. Depends a bit on the snow. too much powder would not be great for a beginner to learn.
You can take tours on the trails only as well.
