点评：I was in the Jungfrau area to snowboard. The Jungfrau lift pass included all the lifts to get here. There are a few options to get to the top. The easiest was taking the Mannlichen Gondola from Wengen as it set you to the bottom of the Royal Walk, which has a pathway to the summit. The Mannlichen chairlift takes you close to the top but you need to walk up a bit to get to the start of the Royal Walk. The other way is from Grindelwald Terminal, taking the gondola to Mannlichen via Holenstein. This does require a short traverse to the top station of the gondola from Wengen.
I was there during winter so there was a single groomed path which led to the crown observation deck. The walk up wasn't too slippery but it wasn't easy near the top with the rocks, uneven footing, snow and ice. The crown had panoramic photo boards which named the mountains in the area, including Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau.
Further along there was another platform with a QR code. The view at the top was amazing. You had a 360-degree view of the area, including down into the valley. You also had a nice view of the ski area below it. It was definitely a worthwhile experience trekking up to the viewpoint to take in the beautiful alpine scenery. It took about 15 minutes from the top of the Wengen gondola in snowboard boots.
