点评：Litteraturhuset used to be one of those places in Oslo I genuinely enjoyed returning to. That makes today’s experience particularly disappointing.
I arrived at 1:00 pm, and what makes the experience difficult to understand is that the restaurant was practically empty. Still, I waited around 20 minutes for a table.
Once seated, another 20 minutes passed before a member of staff finally came to take my order. Then another 20 minutes before the stew of the day arrived.
One hour from arrival to food – in an empty restaurant.
That might have been easier to forgive if the food had been worth waiting for. Unfortunately, it wasn’t. The stew was bland, uninspired and completely forgettable.
The real disappointment is that this used to be a very good place. Litteraturhuset had atmosphere, good food and attentive service. Based on today’s visit, standards have slipped considerably on both food and hospitality.
