点评：We booked for a family trip to the Black Forest. 2 adults and 2 kids. We got a suite on the 2nd floor which was very spacious and generally clean. However there were some towels left behind by previous occupants that had not been cleaned up. Large cob web in the hall way. The bathroom was small and there was no fan. It’s a relatively old or at least well used house. Very touristy. They have coach loads of people coming daily to look at the cuckoo clock. We stayed 5 nights and about halfway we asked to have the room serviced. When we returned it had not been cleaned. I asked at Reception and the guy didn’t seem too bothered and did not apologise. I asked for clean towels and they were provided. The breakfast was an ample spread and very nice. We did not use the Restaurant for dinner - the menu had a steak for 40 euros and a schnitzel for 30 euros. Opposite there is a beer garden which also is priced like they’re really milking the silly tourists. One day we got 3 ice creams and a coffee for 20 euros. So I would avoid anything other than what’s already part of your booking. There are some nice trails nearby and we got around by car daily to Feldberg, Freiburg and so on. Very picturesque area. Priced at a premium but merely ok. It was ok, but could have been amazing.
