A great tour of a historical house.
The Walton Hamner House的点评
点评：My wife and I visited on a warm July day of 2026. Julie, one of the co-owners with her husband, gave us the tour. There were 8-10 of us in the group. They announce when they will be giving tours then you show up and pay $10 per person, cash. The day's tours run on the hour, 9am to 1pm.
Julie was well versed in the Hamner and Walton's history and the history of the house itself. She related many family stories as she took us through the house. She is still in contact with the sole-surviving Hamner sibling, Paul, and can ask him questions about anything she may not know.
Seeing the house that the Hamner's lived in was fascinating. The furnishings are period pieces. The home is filled with original paintings by Earl's sister, Marion Lee Hamner Hawkes.
