点评：We stumbled on this museum while looking for wineries in Northern Virginia. It was so good that we never actually made it to the winery next door! We were warmly welcomed by three volunteer docents who shared the history of the place and walked us through some of the highlights of the exhibits. Several of them had worked at Vint Hill when it was a listening station, and they were incredibly knowledgeable. Several of the machines in the museum still work, and the docents were happy to demonstrate. You could honestly spend hours in the place just listening to their stories and explanations. While the displayed items stand alone, it is really the docents that make this place come to life. My 13-year-old is a big history buff and enjoyed asking questions and getting their perspectives on things. They were so kind to him. He liked the museum experience so much that he made a donation with his own money. You can make a day trip of it by visiting the winery, brewery, and pizza parlor next door. There is even a place that sells kombucha.
