点评:We used the tram to get into the town from the cruise terminal. It offers an excellent service. Although you need to walk approx 25 minutes to get to the tram it is a flat and easy walk which is very well sign posted all the way from the cruise terminal and back. Our cruise ship (Westerdam) was charging $25 each for the shuttle to go to the dolphin port which was primarily for the ferry to Sakurajima. We bought 2 all day tickets for the tram at Wakida station (stop number 22 on the blue line) from tram officials at the stop for just 1,200 yen equivalent to approx £6.60. This allowed us to travel all around the town including the shopping hot spots of Tenmonkan and AMU Plaza. If you’re on a cruise and want the town rather than the ferry to Sakurajima a walk to the tram is by far the better value.
