Great day out with trams and boats A good shop and staff

点评：Visited the museum and took the tram and boat cruse. The timings for the boat departure and then rejoining the tram were a perfect combination of timetabling and practice.
The crews of both just did the job in a way that made it look easy. These jobs newer are but the skills [even the one under training] noticeable.
The museum although in a new built building was made to look as some of the lost buildings of the area. This allowed the area to be kept clean and spacious, with modern facilities.
The exhibits were clean and well represented. Although all was in Dutch the staff explained it all when asked. Typical Dutch flipping from one language to another with ease.
The operating rolling stock was immaculate [it was the start of the season] and looked very well cared for. The other ‘working rolling stock for the maintenance of the line were also in good condition and could be seen to have been constructed on site for a specific job and railway gauge.
Maintaining the infrastructure of a museum railway is not the part the public sees but it makes the line both look and feel good.
The railway was a transport system that used trams boats and in the end busses. Models of them all were displayed in the main station.
The shop was well stocked and had several different languages available..
I asked for some heavy technical data that was not available but a shop staff just found a tape measure and we took the basic sizes so i could start my project . That is helping and doing the best for the visitor. Even though it made them scratch their head at the beginning.
A brilliant day out with room to see “stuff” and opportunity to go somewhere and do something before returning to the start. The tram trip was long enough to make it a journey not a short trundle.
Just brilliant I can recommend a visit.

商店货品齐全，而且提供多种语言的商品。
我询问了一些复杂的技术数据，但店员没有提供。不过，一位店员找到卷尺，帮我量了基本尺寸，这样我就可以开始我的项目了。这才是真正为游客提供帮助，尽心尽力。尽管一开始他们可能有点摸不着头脑。
