Much Ado Books的点评
点评：Unique. A Labour of love. I discovered Much ado books 29 years ago and return every year from London. My adult children have grown up enjoying this glorious emporium and at Xmas I order gift wrapped books which I leave in the box until Christmas day. They are wrapped with such care, candy canes and the odd Tea bag to enjoy.
You can easily spend an hour choosing books old and new-then go to Badgers Tea room ( with adorable garden) which is 1 minute away-a perfect combination! There are continuous improvements and projects with quirky book shacks and garden rooms plus the shop to enhance your experience, it's a joy to see what they are working on each time. I stock up on their amazing poetry cards with 10 poems on different themes-people are always delighted to recieve them and I love their collections of loose pages from old books for scrapbooking , their hand made vintage button or lace collections or Xmas stockings are truly unique . The owners and staff are such characters and passionate to share their knowledge, recommendations (or lavender shortbread ) if invited to. They are as generous and quirky as their shop and seem part of the bricks of Alfriston itself. I hope to catch a workshop or soiree with an author sometime. Basically this independent book shop is a real experience. Take your time. Enjoy it, and spend lots of money so it thrives.
