Fantastic tour with an excellent host
Mornington Peninsula Plunge Wine Tours的点评
点评：My husband and I spent two days touring the Mornington Peninsula with Arthur of Plunge Tours; we highly recommend him. He is communicative, well organized, has a ton of connections across a variety of sites and is very knowledgeable and engaging. His vehicle is roomy and in excellent condition.
From my initial outreach, Arthur was very responsive and communicative. He was extremely focused on ensuring that our days delivered experiences that were tailored to our interests.
Our first day was primarily spent visiting wineries. We started the day with delicious locally grown strawberries and a picnic on the water where we had the breathtaking locale to ourselves.
We then moved on to wine tasting. All the wineries Arthur selected for our visits had top notch wines and engaging hosts, and one of the stops included an extremely informative (and visually stunning) vineyard tour with the winery owner. Throughout the day Arthur shared his wealth of knowledge about the area and making wine. He also entertained us with some wonderful anecdotes. Our tour also included lunch at Sumer House which had delicious food and lovely view of the bay.
Our second day was focused on area exploration based on our interests. Arthur did a terrific job of providing a variety options for us to choose from. We had a tour of Pt Leo Estate sculpture garden, a visit to a glassblowing studio/artist collective, lunch at another sculpture garden with very tasty plates, an exploration of the beautiful grounds and gardens of Cruden Farm, and a final winery stop that we couldn't fit in yesterday.
It's clear that Arthur has done his homework on each place he brought us and he has developed deep relationships with proprietors. His guests definitely benefit from his expertise and network.
